Winery Tastings & Tours

From our founder, Barbara Bray Wilde, "I have always been a wine lover. And when I went to school in California, I fell in love with the vineyards of Napa Valley. I realized that Cape May's climate was very similar to the climate in Bordeaux, and I kept thinking how exciting it would be to bring a world class winery to our visitors in Cape May, New Jersey ... and so the dream began."

Enjoy a guided tour of our 50 acre vineyard on one of Willow Creek's brand new eco-friendly winery tour carts. Learn about the growth of our vines and learn how to identify your favorite varieties. A knowledgeable staff member will discuss our unique micro-climate (terroir), the history of some of our noblest grape varieties and some fascinating facts about how amazing the "vine to wine" process truly is. At the end of our farm tour we will sneak a peak into our new 12,000 square foot post and beam winery where we will be offering wine tastings early this fall. You will have many opportunities to take pictures of the majestic scenery, unique artwork, beautiful landscaped gardens, and architecture. Just ask and we'll be happy to take photos of you and your group at our winery throughout the day.

Ask about our luncheon wine tasting tours which include a catered picnic lunch with produce from our on-site organic farm. Our delicious gourmet farm to table lunches can be served picnic box, or “family style”- allowing everyone to pick and choose from a variety of sandwiches and side dishes for $30 per person.

Wine Car Tour of entire Vineyard. Travel in comfort with up to fifteen friends or co-wine afficionados, receiving in depth information on grape growing, and care- planting to harvesting. Includes tasting and our special gift. $25 per person

Groups can combine farm fresh entrees, wine tasting, wine by the glass or bottle and have the option to host very special private vineyard events.

Willow Creek Winery produces premium sustainable wines that are grown and bottled on site on our 50 acre farm in Cape May, NJ- a combination of preserved and unpreserved farmland. With over 40 acres of vines planted within the last seven years, our unique climate allows us to produce some of the finest hand-crafted wines found this side of Europe.
